The Fear of FEMINISM… why are y’all so scared of the movement?!

Why does the mere mention of feminism pepper your body so? Why do you find the need to keep fighting a harmless movement? Why does the idea of gender equality irritate you so bad?
I think we should all take five minutes of our lives to introspect and genuinely answer these questions. I try so hard to see the downside of “equal opportunities for men and women” and I don’t see it. I don’t understand why we resist commonsense.

Men would like to perpetuate their position of privilege, I get that angle. Perhaps there is insecurity on the part of both men and women, who have become one with the status quo and dread a shaking up of the prevailing order. Perhaps there is the petty issue of just hating the guts of people seeking to start a revolution for equality.

Doesn’t make sense.

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander. How does this threaten world peace, unless you’re a goose who’d rather dominate the gander, or a gander who’d rather be subservient but wouldn’t want to be alone, aiming to box all ganders along?

The idea of gender equality is a no-brainer, sane people shouldn’t be fighting it. And whether you like it all not this society will get to that point where privileges acquired on the basis of gender will become extinct.

Feminists are not desperate. It is you the anti-feminist who is desperate. Because you’re afraid. Because you know this movement is gaining ground. Because you know the status quo is being rocked. And deep down you know it is only a matter of time.

Dictionary Definitions of Feminism…

1. A social theory or political movement which argues that legal and social restrictions on women must be removed in order to bring about equality of both sexes in all aspects of public and private life.

2. the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities.

Again…why does the word “feminism” pepper you so much? Take a moment to answer this question, rather than join the fad of bashing, founded on lazy ignorance.
